Concerned for mothers safety?

My mum (40) works in a youth prison. (12-17 year olds) numerous times she's come home with lots of bruising and not very long ago she came home almost blinded where someone threw chemicals in her eyes! She earns a lot of money and we need it! But I'm scared Shea going to get really hurt! How can I tell her this without her getting mad? She won't quit her job but I'm just so worried for her?!
