Do babies learn to crawl through imitation? if i crawl around a baby will he learn it faster?

your baby will crawl instinctively, it's quite beneficial in developing good hand-eye coordination. babies crawl because they see you walking and moving around. they are crawling to work their way up to walking. they say if children dont crawl before walking, they go back to crawling at some point. no you don't need to crawl around to teach him to crawl. what's the rush?
