Is our relationship worth it?

If it only amounts to an on-again, off- again kind of thing every time, it's really not worth it. It doesn't mean you guys will never get back together, it just means that something isn't working at the moment. I'd just tell him that you really can't keep doing this it's only going to make things worse. Just try to be friends (or at least civil to each other). I believe that if things are meant to be, they'll be. Sorry if that sounded cliche, but someone knew what they were talking about when they said that.
