Do you ever think atheism is kind of like the man who roots for the underdog just to get attention.?

Yeah, they might. I'm just happy to have a place to speak my piece like everyone else, and I don't "follow" anyone who said God doesn't exist. I found that out for myself. I was brought up in a very religious home & my grandfather is a retired Methodist pastor. Maybe kids do yell that they're atheist for attention, but not me. I just think everyone has the right to be heard, since people seem to think ideas are so powerful.
