Has anyone ever out grown their best friend?

I used to be the same height as my best friend brenda then this year i hit my growth spurt and shot 6 inches past her. it was werid at frist but i am used to it now, its just kinda sad cause we used to trade and share some cloths and now we can't. I guess i could give her my hand me downs if she ever grows.
